In addition to these groups, a number of artists have entered into tactical and provisional alliances with Ultra-red for purposes of specific and on-going cooperation. Ultra-Red is an audio activist group producing radio broadcasts, street actions, performances, recordings, installations and public actions, occupying the borders between art and political organizing. FS59: An Otobiography was first presented in 1999 in the performance "Tranual Labor" for the "Crossing Genre/Crossing Gender" exhibition in Austria. It features political performance art about transgendered people, specifically about transsexual worker demands for transitioning on the job.
